A native of western ND, Darla Hueske enjoyed a successful career as a communications director and photographer with international corporations such as American Express in Phoenix, New York City and Brighton, England.
Currently, she is an adjunct professor of graphic design at Dickinson State University. She provides high-quality, commercial photography for business projects and events. She also teaches digital photography and Adobe Photoshop courses for groups and individuals.
Darla is an award-winning multi-media artist. Since graduating from University, she has lived in five states, two countries, and traveled and photographed in more than 300 cities and 24 countries. Three of her personal projects were developed into PBS shows broadcast on local Public Television stations. For example, Colores, KNME New Mexico.
In 2007, she married and moved to her husband’s hometown of Cairo, Egypt. Her street photography and reporting coverage of 2011, 2012, 2013 Egyptian revolutions were featured on CNN and other national news outlets. Darla holds a B.S. in Communications from Minnesota State University and a M.A. from New Mexico Highlands University.
